Our SeedsOfLife Story:

We hope you enjoy our Organic breads, wraps and premixes as much as we do. To our family, 'enjoying' means making healthier food choices to help live a healthier lifestyle and to make living with food allergies and/or intolerances more manageable, on a daily basis.


We have been making rustic hand-crafted Organic seeded breads whilst transitioning to a more natural organic lifestyle, after discovering my wife had many food based allergies and intolerances which includes all preservatives, chemical additives, eggs, grains, gluten, yeast and all lactose and dairy related ingredients. These debilitating intolerances made her so unwell that she was unable to prepare meals or source her own food choices to suit her special dietary needs. After many months searching and researching, and after spending a small fortune on vitamins, supplements and pain 'killers' we discovered that it was best to avoid commercially processed altogether, and decided to change our diet to natural organically sourced products only. 


After achieving this milestone, we set out to create a commercially processed bread substitute, free of chemicals and everything artificial, that would provide a wide range of nutrients using high-quality Organically produced seeds and nuts, sourced from Australia.


To enable Heidi to digest such a product needed to fulfil two key purposes:


* Nutrient dense base to supplement a healthy well balanced diet. 

* Easy to prepare substitute for processed sugar/grain and gluten based snacks.


Heidi started blogging about her health journey and recipes on a Facebook group called ‘I’m in Repair’ and as a result, many members of the group wanted to experience the benefits of her bread recipes. Many group members were advised by health professionals they could never eat processed foods again and were struggling to find something to suit their busy time poor lifestyles, and/or their food allergies and intolerances.


Feedback from members confirmed that our recipes were wonderful, but the ingredients were too expensive and too hard to source and that many didn’t have the time to shop for the ingredients. From there, we found our mission was to create a 'Seed & Nut' ready to bake off the shelf 'Pre-Mix', so that members could simply add water and coconut oil and bake it themselves!


Because the ingredients are expensive, we advised members they are not just replacing a loaf of bread with a loaf of bread…they are introducing a nutrient dense adaptable source into a balanced diet that will leave them with the benefits of feeling fuller for longer, whilst providing nutrient dense supplements to allow a sugar-free low carb slow release energy source.


Our Activated Seed & Nut breads have become a staple part of our family’s life and are often enjoyed with breakfast, lunch or dinner with a cup of herbal tea, organic coffee, organic bone broth or as a quick easy to prepare snack.


Including our bread in our busy daily life has contributed to weight loss and a significant reduction in our weekly food expenses. Reason for this saving, is that we stopped buying sugary processed snacks & foods and because our nutrient dense bread with a healthy topping is like a 'meal in a slice'. As a result, most people only need one to two slices per day, so that the average 750g loaf will last two people for a week, or one person for up to 10 days.


Our family and friends now enjoy many of our SeedsOfLife activated seed and nut bread recipes, and we love to share the benefits of eating our breads with as many people as possible.
